Terms and Conditions

• Welcome to SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including online language lessons and related educational services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC offers private Turkish and English language lessons, as well as Speaking Club group sessions, through platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet. Private lessons and group sessions are designed to help learners improve their language skills at different proficiency levels.
• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC does not guarantee any specific language level, exam result, employment outcome, or learning outcome. Progress depends on attendance, participation, individual study, and regular practice.

• By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
• To access our services, you must provide accurate registration and contact information as requested by SpeakUp.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities conducted under your account.

• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC offers free trial lessons for private lessons and Speaking Club programs to help new participants understand our services.
• Trial lessons may only be used once and are subject to SpeakUp's availability.
• Trial lessons are intended to assess the participant's level and introduce the structure of our programs.
• Private lesson trials last 1 hour, while Speaking Club trial sessions last 40 minutes.
• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue trial lessons at any time.

• Participants may stop using our services at any time. However, purchased packages remain subject to the applicable usage, validity, and refund policies.
• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its services if a participant violates these Terms and Conditions or behaves in a disrespectful, disruptive, or inappropriate manner toward instructors or other participants.
• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, rescheduling, or modifications to services resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, widespread internet outages, war, pandemics, government actions, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

• Current package fees are those published on the website or communicated to participants during the purchase process.
• Speaking Club sessions are conducted in groups of up to 4 participants.
• Participants may attend only the group sessions for which they are registered.
• As Speaking Club sessions operate in a group format, individual sessions cannot be rescheduled or moved to another date.
• Sessions missed by a participant are considered used and are non-refundable.
• No make-up sessions are provided for missed sessions. Instead, each package includes additional flexibility periods as described in Section 7.
• Participants are expected to attend sessions on time.
• Missed sessions resulting from a participant's internet connection, technical issues, or other participant-related reasons will be considered used.
• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC reserves the right to make changes to group structures, instructors, or session schedules when necessary.

• To accommodate occasional absences, all Speaking Club packages include additional usage periods. These additional periods do not constitute separate make-up sessions but instead extend the time available to use the package.
• One-month packages with one session per week include an additional one week of usage time.
• One-month packages with two sessions per week include an additional one week of usage time.
• Three-month packages with one session per week include an additional three weeks of usage time.
• Three-month packages with two sessions per week include an additional three weeks of usage time.
• Any unused sessions expire at the end of the applicable package period and cannot be carried forward.

• Current package fees are those published on the website or communicated to participants during the purchase process.
• Participants may reschedule a lesson by providing at least one hour's notice and selecting another available time within the same week.
• Rescheduled lessons must take place within seven days of the original lesson date and are subject to instructor availability.
• Changes or cancellations requested less than one hour before the lesson start time will result in the lesson being counted as used.
• Lessons that cannot be completed due to the participant's internet connection, technical issues, or other participant-related reasons may also be considered used.
• In the rare event that an instructor must cancel a lesson, alternative lesson times will be offered.

• Additional usage periods have already been included in the package durations above to accommodate occasional scheduling changes. Packages must be used within the specified validity periods. Any unused lessons expire at the end of the applicable package period and cannot be carried forward.
• Requests for additional time or package freezes due to long-term health issues, family circumstances, or other exceptional situations may be considered by SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC on a case-by-case basis.

• Unless otherwise stated in writing by SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC, purchased packages are non-refundable, whether partially used or completely unused. Free trial lessons are provided before purchase so that participants may evaluate the suitability and structure of our programs.
• However, long-term health issues, circumstances that prevent SpeakUp from delivering the service, or other exceptional situations may be reviewed by SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC on a case-by-case basis and in good faith.

• Participants are expected to treat instructors and fellow participants with respect.
• Disruptive, inappropriate, or offensive behavior that negatively affects the learning environment is not permitted during private lessons or Speaking Club sessions.
• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC is dedicated to language learning. To maintain a comfortable, safe, and respectful learning environment, political views, religious beliefs, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other sensitive or polarizing topics may not be introduced as subjects of discussion during private lessons or Speaking Club sessions.
• Participants must respect other individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, language, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other personal characteristics.
• SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC reserves the right to intervene in, redirect, or terminate discussions that it considers inappropriate or detrimental to the learning environment.
• Lesson materials and educational content shared during sessions may only be used for personal learning purposes.
• Participants may not record private lessons or Speaking Club sessions, nor share, copy, reproduce, or distribute educational materials without prior written permission from SpeakUp Language Institute FZ-LLC.
• Violations of these rules may result in suspension or termination of access to services.

• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any consumer rights granted under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
